Yesterday, TheTravellingTrio went out on another Los Angeles adventure. Though I’ve been living here in L.A. for almost five years now, there’s just so many hidden gems to explore!

Since it was the start of her summer break, Patricia of AlwaysAdventuringTrisha treated us at the European brasserie, Little Next Door.

We did not have a hard time looking for parking on the streets because it was late evening. It would be harder to find parking in the day, but they offer valet service.

OOTD: white-themed LOL
As soon as we entered the “little next door”, we were immediately transported to Paris!

You are not in Los Angeles when you visit the Little Next Door; you’re dining in a topnotch European bistro. From the interior, vibe, food, and even the waiters, everything just screams Paris!

We were seated on their vine-covered patio, reminiscent of a French garden with twinkle lights. We also had exceptional service from Nicholas! He made us feel comfortable and did not rush even though we went in 20 minutes before closing time.

We were surprised by how elegant and relaxing the ambience is because we were literally next to a busy street, West 3rd Street.

Since it was our first Parisian dining experience, we did not know how to pronounce half of the food from the menu. Lol, thank goodness for Google and our helpful server! We waited a while for our food to come, but they served us with bread while waiting.

Though we came in late, our food still tasted fresh and absolutely divine!

Soup du jour
My order: Grilled marinated daurade fillet served with baby artichokes, tomato confit, roasted fennel, fingerling potatoes and pesto sauce
Patricia’s order: Roasted salmon served with basmati rice pilaf and lemon caper sauce
Diane’s order: Hamborgeois (angus ground beef burger), onion confit, harissa mayo, and gruyere cheese served with pommes frites

After stuffing ourselves with exceptional French food, we went to the restroom mainly to check out their interior LOL.

One side of the wall was covered with wines! I can’t wait to turn 21 to try these!

Library of wines from all over the world

They also serve a selection of French pastries. We’ll definitely go back to try them out!

We had such a great Parisian experience at the Little Next Door! Looking forward to dine at the Little Door next time with my baes.

Again, thanks Patricia for a wonderful treat!

Always,
outro
